  This fluorescent blue tridacna clam was about 18 inches long. The entrance siphon is at the lower right, and it you look carefully, you can see inside.

  Octopus Eye

  On a night dive under the boat on Mary Island, I had a funny feeling that something was behind me. That's not that unusual for me, so I ignored it for a minute or two, then finally turned around. I don't know who was the more surprised, the octopus or me.
